Spring 15 - Wednesday Women's Recreational

With just 5 teams remaining and only room for 2 teams to advance, tension was high on the court in week 2 of our playoffs.

Game 1 featured the feisty High Post vs the sharp shooting Make it Drizzle. Make it Drizzle jumped out to an early 13-0 lead and never looked back. They would go on to advance to the Championship match next week with a 46-27 win.

In Game 2, we saw the top seed Lights Out take on Victorious Secret. The scrappy Victorious Secret squad kept it in it early by superior post play, but too much offense by Lights Out proved to be too much to handle as they would go on to advance to the Semis with a 61-39 win.

After a short breather, Lights Out returned to the court for a semifinal battle with the upset bound Saved by the Bench. Both teams went back and forth throughout the first half. Lights Out would eventually run away with it by knocking down open looks and relentless fast breaks. Final score in this one was a whopping 66-45.

After it was all said and done, our championship match will feature top seeded Lights Out vs Make it Drizzle. Make It Drizzle will need to continue its sharp shooting to take down the what looks to be unstoppable Lights Out squad.
