• Recreational League Tournament on December 10th and 11th
o Games will take place on a 40-minute rotation between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 10th, and 12:00-7:00 pm on Sunday, December 11th
• Double Elimination Bracket (there will be a blind draw to determine the first round of games)
• Captains (or someone to represent each team) must attend the rules meeting/bracket drawing on Tuesday, December 6th at 7:30 pm. You can attend in person at the community center or via zoom (link provided at a later date).
• $200 fee per team, must be paid in full by November 28th, 2022 to secure your spot.
o You will receive 8 roster spots (that’s $25/person for the tournament), $10/spot if additional roster spots are needed.
• All games will be officiated by two MSHSAA officials.
• Two scorekeepers will be provided to manage the scoreboard as well as keep track of fouls and points for each player.
• Winning team will receive Championship Trophy and bragging rights heading into the 2023 season.
Tournament Rules:
• 12-minute halves, running clock except for the last minute of the second half.
• 2-minute half-time.
• No time-outs.
• OT – if a game ends in a tie, the teams will play a non-timed overtime. The first team to reach 7 points will be named the winner of the game.
• Unless otherwise noted, this tournament will follow NFHS basketball rules.

LEVEL OF PLAY:
• Recreational: If you or your team are looking for a good time and aren't the best basketball players out there but love the game then this is your league. This level is set for those players that didn't play in college and maybe played some in high school. You will find some good players and a few beginners as this level is set for our recreational players.

*Standard team roster of 8 players
*Extra player fees = $10 for more than 8 players on the roster

-Individual
*$80 per individual during early registration.
*$90 per individual during regular registration.
*Individuals are placed on a team with other individuals or similar skill levels.
*If you want your friends to be placed together, it is fine to register as individuals and reference each other for the same team placement. Note that we cannot guarantee the same team placement based on supply and demand. And you may also have additional players added to fill the roster. If you want to control your roster, register as a full team.
*Maximum roster size of 10 but most individual teams have 7-8 players.
*Indie teams are formed based on supply and demand and therefore require flexibility for placement. Give us 3 choices of when/where you can play and there is a 95% successful placement rate - or a refund if we cannot. NOTE: YOU MUST list 2nd and 3rd options (if available) in case this first choice doesn't work out. You will be asked for options when you click to register. You can even list an alternate sport if you like - the goal is to get you playing! - but listing an alternate sport or skill level is not a requirement. If you can only play in this program, we recommend that you put a full team together. If you don't list alternate choices, we will place you in the next available same sport/format/skill level and there are no refunds.
